It is hard apparently, in your country you can send someone to war or alternatively imprison them as happened in the Vietnam war but apparently all quarantine and mitigation and or containment measures for a virus are unconstitutional, easy solution, draft the entire population which is allowed under your constitution and require them to follow orders. Only joking about that , just pointing out of course public health orders are legal although nobody is going to love them. It's not like Australians and New Zealanders enjoyed the restrictions but getting to where we are now was worth it.

I didn't realise space force went operational yet.

Bot's pretend to be American and it's only interference if the bot is pretending to be American. I am Australian so call me an Aussie bot whoever thinks like that and on this particular issue the President of China went to Wuhan fairly quickly wearing a mask, this does make a difference. The discussion here is about the response to the outbreak , not other issues. In Australia even if not plain sailing we are a Federation like the US and our Prime Minister and state and territory leaders didn't contradict each other etc. and worked cooperatively together regardless of political affiliation.

David Rabinowitz how can you create peace with 2 countries that have never fired a single shot against each other? That would be like saying he created peace between Australia and Iceland because we decided to improve our diplomatic relationship, it would be an absurd statement.

The media should just lump the Entire West Pacific together. More than 2,000,000,000 people with a few countries virus free ( other than imported cases) about 1,000,000 cases in total in East Asia plus ASEAN plus Australasia. Less than 100,000 deaths. Then see if they can argue their way out of that one.

If you take the 5 richest US citizens, I am pretty certain 3 will definitely vote to increase taxes on themselves and 2 could vote either way. Truth is the money has to come from somewhere and Trump's massive deficit spending leaves no choice but to do something. There are some billionaires who are driven by pure greed but I think you would find most aren't and can understand the situation of the country and will vote according to what they think is best for the country , whichever way they choose to vote in this election.
