  1.  @Petertrottierrealtor  It's not "Western Civilization" it's the US , the only wealthy country to have such problems on any scale. I am in Australia, there are more homicides in cities like Chicago or Philadelphia than a country of 25 million.

  2. Have to solve the underlying problems. The US has locked up 1% of it's adult population and nothing has changed. Locking people up isn't a strong deterrent, they don't care.
