  1. I think when the world trade war starts people are going to remember Elon and sales of Tesla will go down outside the US. Sales might improve in the US due to elimination of competition, however some people won't buy Tesla on principle even if it's slightly better than other US electric vehicle offerings.

  2. The problem is Trump is about to effectively ban competition with tariffs against all other countries. Tesla is probably the best electric vehicle made in the US. I am in Australia and if I was going to buy an electric or hybrid car it would be made in Asia somewhere. I wouldn't buy a Tesla even if it was made outside of the US on principle.

  3. I think Elon has made a bad move, the educated people who typically voted Democrat this time around are going to boycott Tesla and X and the MAGA people are generally poor and less educated can't afford a Tesla and are unappealing to advertise to on X.
