  1. The US is going full paranoia at the moment. They want to ban Chinese developed programs in in vehicles. Funny thing is it's not unlikely some of Tesla's programs come from China since they do make some of the Tesla's there. I am happy Australia isn't following or at least not for now. BYD the pre-eminent Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer makes cheaper vehicles that have better batteries and they're available in Australia. If we decided we only want upmarket cars it will hurt people who are low and middle income.
