  1. Only to a very limited degree regarding a country like China. Chinese wages aren't that low any more by world standards so production of high Labor low cost goods is moving elsewhere. I am Australian and we believe in free trade. So we have access to cheaper goods. Is it really in the interests of the US to effectively ban Chinese made vehicles as an example. I am not in the market for one but if I was I would buy a $20,000 USD BYD electric vehicle over a Tesla.
