  1. Where I'm from in the South Wales valleys we have a plethora of relays, but it would be unusual to be able to pick up more than one. Where I am in Guildford, I have an antenna facing Crystal Palace and one facing Guildford. Neighbours' aerials are varied, some face Crystal Palace, some Guildford. When HD first started, Guildford didn't relay HD, so pointing at Crystal Palace was the only way to get HD (well, apart from satellite). It's reasonably flat from here to Crystal Palace.

  4.  @lexinexi-hj7zo  I don't personally have cable TV. Some people have it, but it's not that popular. A lot of people view specific shows over the internet these days, and get things like Amazon Prime. You can get satellite or cable packages here probably going from around £25 a month to over £100 a month. Over the air TV is fine though, we don't get commercial breaks ever 7 minutes like in the US! You don't get any commercials at all on the BBC channels.
