  1. The lower frequencies have a higher range. Here in the UK 5G uses everything from 700MHz to 3.7GHz. The higher frequencies are only used in urban high density areas, with 700-900MHz used for general coverage on 5G. When 3G is turned off, the frequencies used will be reallocated to 4G or 5G or a combined 4G/5G system known as DSS.
