  4. Morse code can also be heard on most of the amateur radio bands. There are also channel markers which broadcast their idents in morse.

  5. Hearing these is more of a ground wave thing than sky wave. There's a facebook group dedicated to Long Wave DXing, mostly focused around both the still extant LW radio stations in Europe but also for NDBs which is the only thing people in North America can generally pick up on Long Wave. Unfortunately it looks like that's going to be the case in Europe within a few years.
