  5. Of course, as a radio ham, there are a load of satellites you can legally use, even just on FM, including the one on the ISS. If you're not familiar, do a search for AMSAT.

  6.  @jeffyowell  If you want to go cheaper than the XHData or Tecsun radios, there's the ATS-20 which you can buy from China. I don't have one myself but they seem good for the price.

  9. How would the malware get into anything else? Tracking? Not without a phone modem, and there isn't one of those or it would be three times the price.
