  1. UN secretary General speech was amazing. It really hit the nail on the head. Which i think most people in western counteries are feeling. Certainly if they are under the age of 40/45 and are observing it from a distance. Highly recommended reading it is available on their website. Some important points: "It is important to also recognize the attacks by Hamas did not happen in a vacuum. The Palestinian people have been subjected to 56 years of suffocating occupation. They have seen their land steadily devoured by settlements and plagued by violence; their economy stifled; their people displaced and their homes demolished. Their hopes for a political solution to their plight have been vanishing. But the grievances of the Palestinian people cannot justify the appalling attacks by Hamas. And those appalling attacks cannot justify the collective punishment of the Palestinian people." "Protecting civilians can never mean using them as human shields. Protecting civilians does not mean ordering more than one million people to evacuate to the south, where there is no shelter, no food, no water, no medicine and no fuel, and then continuing to bomb the south itself. I am deeply concerned about the clear violations of international humanitarian law that we are witnessing in Gaza. Let me be clear:  No party to an armed conflict is above international humanitarian law" "Even Wars has rules.... call for Humanitarian ceasefire". Intersting thought, a commentator made recently, why did US help create the UN if it intended to undermine and ignore its authority/recommendations? I think most avergae citizens in western democracies want to know that.

  13. Thanks Ben for sharing Bobbi and Barbies heroing story. Something we really don't do well in the west is to shed a light on all the vast human rights violations occurring around the world, equally. Sadly shedding a light to human rights violations only becomes prominent when it aligns with political fall out with the west. When Bobbi said that death pits and graves are common in Ghana, i would hazard a guess that most people in the west probably aren't even aware of this! Which is alarming. It's a shame that most developing countries are in similar situations. Where corrupt Military leaders/Generals have all the power, they themselves plunder off the counteries wealth, live a very luxurious life. All the while they gut institutions in their countries or make them non existant. So they cam reign Supreme and always remain above the law! Whilst civilans in these countries are living in poverty, suffering and have little to no freedoms/rights. But these corrupt Generals seem to remain in Power as they appear to have the support of Western security powers. For example as former Ambassador turned journalist Craig Murray put it : "It is currently illegal in Pakistan to publish or broadcast about Khan or the thousands of new political prisoners incarcerated in appalling conditions. There have been no protests from western democracies. Literally thousands of members of Khan’s political party are currently in jail for the crime of having joined a new political party. The condemnation by the Western establishment has been non-existent. It is difficult to think of a country, besides Pakistan, where thousands of largely middle class people could suddenly become political prisoners, while drawing almost no condemnation from Western democracies" This was quite evident in Blinken's tweeted, it very barely even touched the tip of calling out Pakistan Militarys massive human rights violations, trialing civilians in Military courts, sexual violence and torcher & denying 240 million people their true democratic voice, rights and choice of leader. Because we all know as Blinken wrote: "As Pakistan prepares for free and fair elections, in accordance with its constitution and the rights to freedom of speech and assembly, we will continue to advance our shared commitment to economic prosperity". is sadly in its nicest possible term just creative writing.

  15. Wow. The recent Intercept Arricle on the Cipher is a bombshell. The article is called: Secret Pakistan Cable documents US pressure to remove Imran Khan. As a heartfelt progressive this doesn't bring me any joy to see the Biden Administration engage in the same type of behaviour which has left many in the world have a bad taste about US Forign Policy. There is no way in the world Donald Lu, could have said those things he did without top level clearance. Either the state department is an independent entity not really linked with Biden Administration and doesn't take any instructions from POTUS. Or Bidens lack of phone call or engagement with Khan, proves what we all suspected. That Biden was willing to meet with a known murder of Model Town Mascara I.e. Sharif the guy that burns all evidence and Biden even have a offical photo take with him but he couldn't be bothered to call Khan???? Why? Because Khan rightly criticised the Afghan War? Rightly criticised 80,000 innocent cillivilans being killed by drone strikes (which you both now agree Tommy & Ben was too much and you wish you could go back in time and change). Donald Lu, may not have explicitly said the words "change leaders" but there was strong pressure applied by him to do so. A popular leader like Khan is elected by the Paksitani people. The US don't like him, they create conditions which would benefit the Corrupt Paksitani Military to change leaders... In a country like Pakisitan where the Military has gutted its institutions to reign supreme. Democracy has just gone back decades!! Many argue there were more freedoms under British rule pre1947, then they are now in Paksitan. Right now massive human right violations, massive custodial torcher, sexual violence, massive media ban, massive internet ban. Journalists being murdered. Journalists fearing for their lives are all happening. Yeah these things happened before but not the same extend and depth within Pakistan. And within large cities like Islamabad, Karachi & Lahore. Before it was remote areas only.... Donald Lu's actions were a catalyst for many events, where Paksitan is now in one of its worst ever economic and political crisis. People are dying lining up for discounted flour!!! Imran Khan's name has been banned on TV and websites like YouTube, Twitter are also banned, with very limited internet access. Civilans are being trialed in Military court. Why? US didn't like Khan going to Moscow to get cheap grain and fuel. In a visit the Pakistani Military wanted him to go (also Indian has stronger ties to Russia)... Just like in Binladen era it appears US has been fed lies by PK Military and they have accepted it. Meanwhile innocent Pakistani Civilans are suffering because of the chain of events Donald Lu sparked....Surely now is the time for Biden Administration to correct the path. The PaksitanI diaspora want a fairer go for 100 million people living in poverty. They want to break elite capture. They want to end corrupt dynstical politics. They want free fair and monitored elections. They want their legal rights to be restored and them to choose the leader who run for elections. The irony is that you may not have liked Khan. Thought he was arrogant etc. But he never lied to you and used you like PK Generals. I thought Americans like being forthright/no duplicity??? It's not too late to amend your foreign policy.

  18. Dear Fellow Worldo's, More disturbing news when it comes to Pakistan. Massive kudos to Drop Site News for revealing the Islamabad Masacar was premeditated and well planned out. Please go and read the full article for yourself. Essentially the butcher Generals concocetted up this plan for a way to be soo brutal and barbaric, to essentially act as a deterrent to "stop other protests". They thought that the May 9th fiasco and their lies worked soo well, to quell peaceful pro democracy protest. This would be bigger, more brutal and more barbaric then ever before. The 12 people reported dead were belived to be shot in the afternoon of the protest in broad day light by Army snipers. The real terror came at night time. The terrorist Army and its intelligence agencies shut off all the lights and and opened Machine Gun Fire on peaceful unarmed pro Democracy protestors . They used Gun Fire provided by US. Clealry in violation of their end user agreement. There is video evidence where you can hear and see this. They also used thermal drones in this process too. Clean up crews were organised (one eye witness reported seeing 15 to 20 trucks at least with more likely) by the terrorist Army to hide the bodies, the bullets and shells. So by morning they could publically deny any evidence of this occurring. Many hundreds, if not thousands are reported to be have been injured or murdered. The number is not know as thousands were there. When state D was pressed about this. The spokesman essentially ask the Pakistani Army to investigate themselves for their own crimes. What a joke. Pakistani terrorist Army really must be providing a supurb service and sucking up to the Powers that be, because Washington doesn't seem to care that Pakistani Army butchered their own peaceful, unarmed pro democracy people in the country's Capital. And ignored the end user agreement for prohibited weapons. Why bother having such an agreement if your just going to ignore it ? You dont have to be Enistine to image it won't be long before the 6th largest Army in the world, moral and ethical decline to further continue and further deteriorate. Known for their strict command and control discipline. What happens when their butcher terrorist Generals, stop obeying the Powers that be? Do you really think psychopathic Munir and his Generals are going to leave their posts and position of power/Authority? Or is the plan to use stench worthy Sharif /Bhutto Zadri to change Generals if it comes to that? The Pakistani Generals and its Army have turning into a monster, It's only a small hop, skip and jump away until its out if control. Again a mess created by the old fuddy duddies in Washington for their ill thought out, ill reasoned plans by not saying anything, especially when the top brass term as General was allowed to be extended. Pakistani people want their freedom from the corrupt butcher terrorist Army Generals, Sharif and Bhutto Zadri's. Who have all equally contributed to the destruction of Pakistani society, its economy and people. The latest efforts is in controlling the internet. Access to Twitter has been banned for many months, Facebook etc are now affected too. VPN are now being considered "social media platform". Drop Site News website is banned in Paksitan. Pakistanis deserve a better and peaceful tomorrow. This model where only select few thrive and 250 million people suffer and don't have enough to eat, are illiterate. Nor will it bring peace and stability to Pakistan. The Paksitani Generals are too power hungry. If you want to learn more about the Islamabad Masacar, there was a forum in English tittled: Islamabad Masacar on youtube hosted on GSV News chanel where this is discussed. Highly recommend you watch it. P.S Thanks Ben & Tommy for your pod this year. Happy Holidays 🎄

  23. Dear Fellow Worldo's, Deeply troubled times in Pakistan. Literally a massacre of thousands of innocent people killed by orders from corrupt Pakistani Generals. Carried out by the Army soldiers and Pakistani rangers (federal paramilitary troups of Pakistan). now know as Islamabad's Massacre 2024. live fire (not rubber bullets) opened freely on thousands of innocent people protesting peacefully. What happened to be captured on video and has gone viral, is a man praying on top of a shipping container. And a ranger pushed him off. The man was gripping on for dear life. The ranger then made sure he lost his grip by prying his fingers off the edge of the container. This man broke his neck and died. Reports of bodies being hidden in tunnels/basements of local government buildings like hospitals. So the people cant be identified and the true number of dead, never known. Clean up teams have been sent by the corrupt Generals to wash away the evidence. Barbaric beyound words. Massive coudos to Drop Site News. To capture the facts on the ground in Pakistan. Pakistan's Army has monopolised violence to scare Pakistanis and keep them under "controll". Kissinger really did the people of Pakistan a massive disservice, for hiding the truth from the world and them about what the Corrupt Pakistani Generals did to the people of Bangladesh. Most Pakistanis and the extensive diaspora now regard the corrupt Generals and their mob as terrorists controlling Pakistan. I don't say this lightly, but there is no recovery to the Pakistani Armys reputation within the hearts and minds of ordinary Pakistani people. None. The Army and its Corrupt Genrals are deeply hated for what is likely to be many decades to come. Political goons like Sharif/Butto Zadari and yes even (compelling stories from the likes of) Malala Yousuf are NOT the answer. All 3 have highlighted their self interest. And their inability to stand up for the people of Pakistan and speak up about the atrocities that have been occurring to the innocent, voiceless, powerless people of Pakistan. None are suitable leaders. Malala is not well regarded in her home country due to her deafening silence on the extensive injustices within Pakistan. Sharif & Bhutto Zadri are well known corrupt and despicable entities. That have no issues in taking money from even Pakistani flood victims. I really hope the old fuddy duddies sitting behinde a desk in Washington, that helped deny the Pakistani people their democratic voice, earlier this year. Know what they are doing, all indicators are deeply troubling. Because to the political observer Washingtons decision from earlier this year has resulted in thousands of innocent people especially women being held in jails and subjected to sexual violence for more than 14 months, is unacceptable. The violence Pakistani people have experienced at the hands of their corrupt terrorist Army Generals for protesting peacefully, is unacceptable. Pakistan belongs to the people of Pakistan not the corrupt Generals and corrupt elite of Pakistan. Makes one think, if the fuddy duddies in Washington offered Khan cheap oil and agreed to not kill hundreds and thousands of innocent people via drone strikes. Pakistan would be a lot more stable. I guess those geniuses will pat one another on their backs for their spectacular bad decisions, that are compounding. And as usual they will most likely get promoted and make a bigger mess elsewhere globally. Lord help us all! Ben, please interview Journalist Moeed Prizada. Washington should not ignore this massacre and try and cover it up.

  27. Imran Khan was sentenced this week on trumped up fake charges. Jeffery Sach"s writes an excellent analysis piece. I urge everyone to google it and read the full piece. Here is an excerpt: There are strong reasons to believe that U.S. actions led to the removal from power of Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan in April 2022, followed by his arrest on trumped-up charges of corruption and espionage, and sentencing this week to 10 years imprisonment on the espionage charge. Pakistan, another case where evidence points strongly to U.S.-led regime change. In this case, the U.S. desired to bring down the government of Prime Minister Imran Khan, the charismatic, talented, and hugely popular leader in Pakistan, renowned both for his world-leading cricket mastery and for his common touch with the people. His popularity, independence, and enormous talents make him a prime target of the U.S., which frets about popular leaders who don’t fall into line with U.S. policy. Imran Khan’s “sin” was to be too cooperative with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping, while also seeking normal relations with the United States. The great mantra of U.S. foreign policy, and the activating principle of “either with us or against us.” Leaders who try to be neutral amongst the great powers are at dire risk of losing their positions, or even their lives, at U.S. instigation, since the U.S. does not accept neutrality. Leaders seeking neutrality dating back to Patrice Lumumba (Zaire), Norodom Sihanouk (Cambodia), Viktor Yanukovych (Ukraine), and many others, have been toppled with the not-so-hidden-hand of the U.S. government. Like many leaders in the developing world, Khan does not want to break relations with either the U.S. or Russia over the Ukraine War. By sheer coincidence of prior scheduling, Khan happened to be in Moscow to meet Putin on the day that Russia launched the special military operation (February 24, 2022). From the start, Khan advocated that the conflict in Ukraine should be settled at the negotiating table rather than on the battlefield. The U.S. and E.U. arm-twisted foreign leaders including Khan to fall into line against Putin and to support Western sanctions against Russia, yet Khan resisted. Khan probably sealed his fate on March 6 when he  held a large rally in northern Pakistan. At the rally, he berated the West, and especially 22 EU ambassadors, for pressuring him to condemn Russia at a vote in the United Nations. He also excoriated NATO’s war against terror in next-door Afghanistan as having been utterly devastating to Pakistan, with no acknowledgment, respect, or appreciation for Pakistan’s suffering. Khan told the cheering crowds, “EU ambassadors wrote a letter to us asking us to condemn and vote against Russia… What do you think of us? Are we your slaves … that whatever you say, we will do?” He added, “We are friends with Russia, and we are also friends with America; we are friends with China and with Europe; we are not in any camp. Pakistan would remain neutral and work with those trying to end the war in Ukraine.” From the U.S. perspective, “neutral” is a fighting word. The grim follow-up for Khan was revealed in August 2023 by investigative reporters at The Intercept. Just one day after Khan’s rally, Assistant Secretary of State for the Bureau of South and Central Asian Affairs Donald Lu met in Washington with Pakistan’s Ambassador to the U.S., Asad Majeed Khan. Following the meeting, Ambassador Khan sent a secret cable (a “cypher”) back to Islamabad, which was then leaked to The Intercept by a Pakistani military official. The cable recounts how Assistant Secretary Lu berated Prime Minister Khan for his neutral stance. The cable quotes Lu as saying that “people here and in Europe are quite concerned about why Pakistan is taking such an aggressively neutral position (on Ukraine), if such a position is even possible. It does not seem such a neutral stand to us.” Lu then conveyed the bottom line to Ambassador Khan. “I think if the no-confidence vote against the Prime Minister succeeds, all will be forgiven in Washington because the Russia visit is being looked at as a decision by the Prime Minister. Otherwise, I think it will be tough going ahead.” Five weeks later on April 10, with the U.S. blunt threat hanging over the powerful Pakistani military, and with the military’s hold over the Pakistani parliament, the Parliament ousted Khan in a no-confidence vote. Within weeks, the new government followed with brazenly manufactured charges of corruption against Khan, to put him under arrest and prevent his return to power. In utterly Orwellian turn, when Khan made known the existence of the diplomatic cable that revealed America’s role in his ouster, the new government  charged Khan with espionage. He has now been convicted on these charges to an unconscionable 10 years, with the U.S. government remaining silent on this outrage. When asked about Khan’s conviction, the State Department had the following to say: “It’s a matter for the Pakistani courts.” Such an answer is a vivid example of how U.S.-led regime change works. Pakistan will therefore hold elections on February 8 with its most popular democratic leader in prison and with Khan’s party the subject of relentless attacks, political murders, media blackouts, and other heavy-handed repression. In all of this, the U.S. government is utterly complicit. So much for America’s “democratic” values. The U.S. government has gotten its way for now—and has deeply destabilized a nuclear-armed nation of 240 million people. Only Khan’s release from prison and his participation in the upcoming election could restore stability

  33. Worldo's if you are interested in ensuring the 5th largest country in the world has democracy and it's innocent people (literally in the millions) stop suffering. Then I strongly urge you to please pay attention. Worldo's dont know if you have you ever noticed how Thinktanks in Washington conveniently ignore the fundamental fault line/truth during their analysis/opinions on South Asian counteries? Makes one wonder why? When it comes to Pakistan this is particularly true. There is an over analysis of Pakistans structural problems and the "need for structural reform". With an approach that frankly just ignores the pink elephant in the room. If you want Pakistans economy to genuinely improve for greater world stability then it needs to start with some essential elements/ requirements. 1. Qualified, educated, competent folk in government. That have the ability to implement and execute good policy measures. 2.The politcans need to actually care about the Pakistani people. And improving their everyday lives and a genuine hope for a better tomorrow. 3. The democratic voice of the people must be heard. NOT the Militarys, not the dynastic politicans. Let's give examples of how both PLMN and PPP clearly don't meet the above criteria. PPP and PLMN were both in power when negotiating with China for energy production supply to Pakistan. It is strongly belived that both parties took massive bribes from China to accept a higher unit price rate for energy, so that it was not even remotely fair or reasonable to the everyday man. So now with massive inflation in place, the poor innocent everyday Pakistani people are suffering from major energy bills shock and unreasonably high energy prices because the dynastic leaders didn't give one hoot about the everyday Pakistani. Again the innocent people of Pakistan are being screwed by its abhorent illegitimate government (of PPP, PLMN & the Generals). Another act of the abhorent behaviour exhibited by PPP & PLMN was after the recent catastrophic floods. The world felt compassion for the people of Pakistan and donated food and goods to the suffering poor. Do you know what they did? They staged a photo op with the locals showing Bilawal Bhutto Zadri & Sharif "giving food and aid" to the people. once the photo op was over they packed up the tents and the donations. leaving nothing behinde. Because we all know PPP & PLMN profit from these donations (which are meant to be free!!!). They either profit by selling the goods to the people who just lost their homes. Or get this, by only giving out aid ( the donated goods) by getting desperate people who have lost everything to swear on the Quran or Bible that they will vote for PPP or PLMN at the next election. These folk take their faith seriously. Its the only thing they have got. So they have a choice feed their families or lose your faith. You really can't stoop any lower then that. Seriously PPP & PLMN are abhorent and disgusting as they come. Their one and only priority is themselves. Literally everything they do is a facade and political point scoring for the west. Where they know people don't look beyond the surface. PakistanI elites (including PPP & PLMN) are one of the most selfish in the world and that is saying something! Here is the troubling latest: 1. Six Justices from Islamabad High Court have released a public letter together stating they are constantly being blackmailed and under significant pressure by ISI to generate judgements that is favourable for the Military. EVERYONE knows this happens frequently, so it's rather disingenuous when world powers play the card of "it's a matter for the Pakistani people and their judicial system". The judicial system is compromised and does not serve justice. I highly recommend you go and google and find the letter from the Justices and read it for yourself. It's alarming and eye opening. Abducting a Judges brother inlaw and torchering him via electric shocks to force the Judge to resign from the bench or make a decision in favour of the Military. It appears compromising footage is the preferred method for blackmailing of both ISI and Pakistans Cersei Lannister. Cameras in bedrooms, private homes etc. Seriously disturbing and clear violation of human rights. 2. Mr.25% is bestowing his youngest daughter, who has never worked a day in her 31 year old life. A political seat in Parliment. It appears many hands were broken and bent to unnatural angles to get people out of the way for her "election". Great to see PPP the so called intellectual superiors of Pakistan show their goonish dynastic nature too. Meanwhile the Bhutto Zadris son. Who equally has never had a proper job in his life ( not including his time as FM which was bestowed to him by his family connections), is incompetent, does not know how to fluently speak any of the Pakistan's dialects. Has no real talent, skills or abilities (other then being born into the right family and sucking up to global powers). Meanwhile he feels very entittled and has a "birth right" to take up the tittle of "Prime Minister in waiting". Lord help us! Just to give you an idea of how abhorent and unlikeable PPP and PLMN are. Their deep sence of entitlement and privillage is equivalent to: How Jarred believes he (with his Dads donations to get into Harvard, marriage connections to serve in the WH) has an obtuse sence of self and his abilities, you know like being able to solve the Middle East crises. Like that, but multiply it by 1000!! Then you get a sence of what PPP and PLMN are like. 3.Then we had the Military parade. Interesting to note, there were lots of empty seats and lack luster crowds this year (which is unheard of. That event is usually packed like sardines). Just goes to show how unpopular current Generals are even with their own people (let alone with the everyday Pakistani people). But Frankly, what a waste of money. I shudder to think how many people the money spent on the parade, could have fed, you know the starving people who barely get one sqaure meal a day. As an observer it's disheartening to see how the goonish elite entities currently running Pakistan (Military, PPP & PLMN) always have money for their agenda and requirements such as elevating ones daughter to phoney first lady status, expensive Military parades and 20 to 30 Presidential/Prime Minister cars. Yet they claim they don't have any money for initiatives that would actually help the suffer poor of Pakistan. They closed down the homeless shelters because they "didn't have money" and they closed down the soup kitchens that fed these starving people because they "didn't have money". What utter nonsense! 4. And how can a post be complete without mentioning Pakistans Cersei Lannister in detail. In her quest to show western powers "how progressive she is and into women's rights and womens empowerment" she has started a empty vessel "violance against women never again" campaign. The tragic part of this is that domestic violence is a massive issue in Pakistan and it needs serious measures and important policy and legislative reform to address this deep stain. The very moment she was releasing this staged fake policy, her punjab police were subjecting women in custody to custodial violence and demeaning acts such as placing mice and roaches in their clothese. So much for stopping Violence against women Cercei lanaster. 5. The Army is blackmailing a big business man named Malik Riaz (a large developer) to testify against Imran Khan. This man is one of the wealthiest business man in Pakistan. Who's business has been held up for some months now. As he has refused to testify agasiny IK. He has also released a public letter. If the Generals genuinely want to fix PK economy them the Army really needs to get out of public life. One really has to ask World Powers, in a country of 240 million people or even the extensive diaspora. Could you really not find anyone that has Pro western democratic values. Yet also has the character and moral compass to NOT screw over, and actually help the innocent, voiceless, powerless people of Pakistan. A leader who would have care for the everyday man and give them a better tomorrow? The very people who continue to suffer endlessly. Did you even bother to look?? Update: March 29, Biden released a public letter via US Pakistani embassy basically to endorse criminal goon Shabaz Sharifs government. Soo disappointed in Biden Administration. Guess Bidens foreign policy failings continue.

  34. Worldo's if you are interested in ensuring the 5th largest country in the world has democracy and it's innocent people (literally in the millions) stop suffering. Then I strongly urge you to please pay attention. One of the most senior diplomat from state Dpt is about to provide testimony. Don't know who wrote his opening statement that was submitted to the house foreign affairs committee but I highly recommend you go and read it for yourself online. There are gross inaccuracies and perhaps even a deliberate element of spin and romantisism with "rose coloured glasses" to mislead. You know the type that would challange any love sick teenage girl that is day dreaming about falling in love for the first time. Let's examine the statement and outline its over reach and misrepresentation of facts: 1. Inaccurately building a narrative that rigging is common in Pakistan and what happend in the most recent elections in 2024 is nothing new. Factually incorrect. Pakistanis were denied their democratic voice like never before. Women, the elderly and men turned out in massive numbers never seen before. The PakistanI people's election results were stolen. This exceeded normal rigging practices. Form 45s (which are results from each booth) were disregarded. Or the tally changed without explanation on form 47's (the form that tallys all form 45s). Without any legimate reason or proper oversight. The extent of denying the Paksitani people their democratic voice has never been so open or brazen before, nor soo heavy handed and clear as daylight. Previous rigging have always been done discreetly and without leaving obious evidence behinde. This time there is overwhelming evidence captured on devices of the blatent rigging. Way worse and severe then in the 90s that the state department offical was reffering too. 2. Trying to highlight and creat a false equivalence to some crimes in Pakistan and minimiseing or barely mentioning the real main overwhelming crimes. Very cleverly done, so let's examine this in detail. The statement highlights in detail that their was election violance BEFORE the actual election date and that female journalists were in fact targeted. Whilst barely acknowledging the real crimes. The unprecedented huge amount of voter suppression, internet cuts where people couldn't find who their local candidate were for independents linked with PTI, This also meant many did not know which symbol to vote for (in a country of 120 millions illiterate people), elections booths allocated 5 to 8 hours away from someone's home (to minimise voter turn out, surpress voters and put as many barriers from voting), closing booths to cause delays. So people would get fed up and stop linning up, denying IDs so voters couldn't vote and violance towards voting staff by Pakistani state entities to change the votes. Not to mention locking up, torchering and even deaths of peaceful protestors, anyone who mentions Imran Khan or the PTI flag. 3. Stating the elections "were competitive" because of the huge number of voter turn out and the larger number of votes given to PTI affiliated candidates. This is just blatantly dishonest spin. Clearly PTI won in a massive landslide. They would have been the elected government with 2/3 majority of their own right. If the Pakistani people mandate was not stolen. Just because the corrupt Genrals and decaying carcus of PPP & PLMN could not change millions of votes because they didn't have the man power to do so. I mean this really is quite dishonest spin state is putting on this election being "competitive". when it was anything but. 4. It gets worse folks. With the statement that all 3 parties now govern a district/region of Pakistan on their own. I mean, this is again such blatent mistruth. Sharif & Bhutto Zadri are politically decaying carcus and no one can remove their stench. No matter how much state and the Generals may want to. I would argue that Vanilla Ice with his one hit from the 90s has more legimate fans than Shairf & Bhutto Zadri do electorally together. And I noticed Don overlooks 120 million innconent people being governed by Pakistans Cersei Lanaster. The dynastic leader who has NO education or qualifications to govern 120 million people. Even her education certificates were obtained by paying off the right people to look the other way on her academic grades. Fear not folks what she lacks in education she makes up for acting like Cersei Lannister. Let's not get started by Sharif goons the current PM. Google Model Town Mascara. And you will know what type of goon he is. And then Mr. 25% The Bhutto Zadris like to protray to the world that they are the intellectual superior. Yet they are very much like the Sharifs, and clearly not superior enough to recognise intellectually they are deeply disliked by the Paksitani people and electorally. Even a "Oxford education" can't mask that stench. 5. The election in Paksitan were NOT competitive. Despite the spin being portrayed here. 6. "We share a commitment to strengthening Pakistan’s democratic institutions, ... and bolstering respect for human rights, including religious freedom". Literally could have fooled the diaspora. State has barely lifted a finger in holding the Generals and Sharif/Bhutto Zadri to account. This statement clearly ignores the the past 24 months in Pakistan. Anyone who knows Pakistan knows the huge extent of human rights abuse, judicial murder, sexual violance for females in custody for phoney crimes is unprecedented. Just to name a few. 7. This last statement has to be the most heartbreaking. Primarily because one only wishes it was even remotely true and clearly not just more word salad and empty words. "The Pakistani people deserve a country that is peaceful, democratic, and prosperous. We are working every day to support that vision". I have to ask how so? And on what universe? Becaue most of the diaspora only see elite capture at play in Paksitan, supported by world powers. Who continue to support decaying carcuss of PLMN & PPP over, over, over and over again these 30 + years because they appoint the Generals. In the process massively screwing over the Pakistani people. By contuning to support Sharif & Bhutto Zadri to be the dynastic government/leaders of Pakistan for the past 30+ years. Who care only about themselves rather then the huge responsibility of looking after 240 million innocent people. Thereby continuing the pattern of innocent, voiceless, powerless people in Pakistan suffering. It's decisions like this have lead to domestic disasters in Pakistan and helped destroy the fabric of Pakistani society. How else can 120 million people become illiterate over a span of 30 to 40 years? There was a time in the 50s, 60s and 70s that Pakistan had schools and teachers in every town. No matter how small or remote. And now nearly half of its population is illiterate. That's just one small very tiny example of how bad governments like Shairf & Bhutto Zadri have destroyed Pakistan and destroyed the lives of millions of innocent people. Again, tragically all rubber stamped by world powers. Update: The state officals testimony was sadly lacking. Don't get me wrong his tone showed a facade of concern and care for the Pakistani people, but when actions are clearly lacking its just empty words. Repersentative Casar summed it up well. Thank you Greg Casar for highlighting US has prioritised its military relationship over its democratic relationship in South America with disastrous results. They are doing the same in Pakistan right now. What I found disturbing was that state believe its "for the matter of the Pakistani people" to decide if their Judiciary has the ability to deliver justice or investigate the electoral rigging. I mean when your clearly supporting one side i.e. the Generals & Sharif/Bhutto Zadri, and yet you want the powerless, voiceless innocent Pakistani people to stand up and you as the leading world power don't voice any support for them or undermine/play down their plight/suffering. Then statements like that is just filled with blatent mistruths and hypocrisy. Seriously state needs to do better. Start by revisiting its policy towards Pakistan, Sharif/Bhutto Zadri & the Generals. Because the political pressure to highlight the plight of the innocent voiceless, powerless Pakistani peoples freedom is not going anywhere. Prioritise the people of Pakistan and not the Military. Start there for a change.

  35. Guys is there any truth to Pakistani Army being in discussion with World Powers to provide "peace keeping" duties in Gaza? I know it's tough times but you do realise how disliked the Corrupt Generals of Pakistan are right now? And anyone considering to use them in any capacity, in any way legitimises the Generals and them being Pakistans self appointed Power. Worldo's the heart breaking tragedy of Pakistan still continues. The 5th largest country in the world where the elites and corrupt Politicians and Corrupt Generals continue to thrive while the everyday man, women and child continues to suffer. The people have had to contend with record high inflation levels, record high unemployment, record high illiteracy, record high energy rates record high food insecurity, record high instability and records high violance and supression of peoples voice. All these problems and all the corrupt Generals and Politicians like Zadri & Sharif care about is themselves. And ensuring the corrupt system they have set up for themselves continues. Please stop legitimising Pakistans corrupt Generals and Politicians. They are essentially well dressed thugs and criminals. The PakistanI diaspora and people all know this. If only World Powers started paying attention to the peoples voice. Update: What an amazing Interview Medi Hussan has had with Imran Khan on Zeteo. Imran Khan quote from the interview. "Most countries view our Army as a stabilising force in a volatile political landscape. When the chief of "this one constant" uses brute force and deciet (on its own people). It becomes difficult for many counteries to speak out.... the world should raise its voice for democracy and the 250 million people of Pakistan whose mandate has been stolen in broad daylight" . Great point, although one wonders if the  Magnitsky Act was enforced on the corrupt Generals (by any western country). Surely the rate of torcher, forced dissapearances, murder, violence and abuse of power would be reduced for 250 million people. Who only want a better tomorrow for themselves and their children. Isn't that a basic human right and human dignity. "Recently IKs information secretary was attacked on the road with blades. Platforms like X have been blocked for months in Pakistan. Mentioning Khan's name on TV is prohibited. PTI main leaders are not allowed to appear on TV... Elections are supposed to bring political stability by earning the people trust and mandate. This election has achieved neither, only created more uncertainty and a greater trust deficit between the people and the (corrupt) ruling elites".

  46. Intercepts article on secrete cables: Really hope the senate or foreign relations committee summons NSC, with their billion dollar budget. Why did they get sucked into the lie that Imran Khan was "leading the charge to have relations with Russia?" They know who their sources are that lied to them. Clearly shows someone either had really bad intel or they only saw what they wanted to see/ their prejudice and biases blined them from looking at facts & reality objectively. Which is really dangerous given the role these people are in. Also interesting to note the quote from Donald Lu: "the thinking in washington was given the current political turmoil in Pakistan, now was not the time to for such engagement" Well, the tragic sad irony of that shouldnt be lost on anyone reading this quote. Because right now its arguable the worst condition Pakistan has been in and many Pakistanis believe they had more rights and freedoms in british India in 1947. Then they do right now under corrupt military generals where Imran Khans name and picture cant be mentioend or shown on TV becaue of the massive media ban. And massive human rights violations, indimidation and several other tragic things are happening. But one cant help but feel that the article shows that not only NSC had blinkers, prejudice and bias against Khan. But most of Biden Administration did too. If only Blinken had bothered to take the phone call of then PK foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, the mess of the past 16 months could have been avoided!

  50. Dear Fellow Worldo's, Deeply troubling times in Pakistan continue. Soo much to summaries, but here are the disturbing highlights. 1. The man that was pushed off 3 stacked shipping containers, then had his fingers pried off the edge as he was clinging on. Miraculously survived. But he sustained serious injuries. Due to the clip going viral and was attracting some minor international media attention. The Corrupt Army Generals decided to arrest all this poor mans family, including elderly relatives. And are now holding him in custody. No doubt to blackmail him to do what the corrupt Genrals want. It gets worse, they decide to spread lies that this man was creating a tick tok video and that's why they had to throw him off 3 storey high container. Guess the normal standard of arresting and torchering while under arrest was not sufficiently barbaric enough for the corrupt Generals. The paramilitary troups involved in pushing him off the container have not been disciplined or had any action taken agasint them. 2. The real number of dead. Is still not know. There are geniuine videos surfacing of thousands of people running for their lives as live fire was being shot at them. Barbaric beyound words. By eye witness accounts many hundreds of people were shot dead if not thousands. The Corrupt Generals sent clean up crews to hide the real figure and refused to release the bodies of the dead. 3. It is believed the automatic weapons used to kill thousands of innocent peaceful Pakistani civilians were provided by the US to assist in fighting agaisnt terrorist. NOT Pakistani people. 4. When family members go desperately from one Islamabad hospital to another, desperate to find their loved ones bodies. After hours of begging and waiting they are forced to sign a document that the body will be released on the condition that the family will not tell the media, lodge a police complaint or take any action against the state for killing their loved one unlawfully. 5. Gets worse folk. The majority of peaceful protestors killed were from Khyber Pakhtu and Bolochistan. Often the main bread winner of the family. So the corrupt Generals ordered the police to arrest even innocent people like taxi drivers in Islamabad that are from Bolochistan and Khyber Pakhtun heritage. If anyone knows anything about Pakistan is that these provinces live by a very tribal set of rules and culture. Which the corrupt terorrist Generals have gravely violated and it will cause further instability in Pakistan. The average Pakistani now sees why the Boloc people want a seperate state. The thousands of missing Baloc people at the hands of the corrupt Generals. The blindfolded, tied young men thrown out of helicopters mid air. These are only some of the atrocities that the corrupt terrorist Pakistani Army did to their own people. This Genie is not going back in its bottle. The hatred for Pakistani terrorist Army is real. This is beyound and bigger than Khan. Khan was a catalyst for people to wake up. Those that can, are boycotting Pakistan Military items like cereal, cement, fertiliser etc. 5B. The terrorist Military is passing laws with the despicable Sharif and Bhutto Zadri to pan VPNs. First Twitter and other social media was banned, then restrictions placed on tick tock and YouTube. And now what's app is heavily monitored. And the scummy Genrals are trying to clamp down on any information coming into Pakistan that they are deeming VPN to be a "social media" channel. Soon Pakistanis won't have access to any internet. Because that's the darkness they need to keep 250 million people in so maintain their lecherous power. 6. If you haven't already strongly recommend you go and watch Senator Anwars session called "A military scanctioned massacre of pro democracy activist in Paksitan" and you can hear for yourself People's eye opening legitimate concerns with the corrupt terrorist Pakistani Army Generals. It was interesting in particular to hear everyones perspective of why the "smart educated" old fuddy duddies in Washington continue to support the Corrupt terrorist Pakistani Army. I can't say the answer appears any clearer. But arguing it's for "US interests", just doesn't pass the pub test anymore. Or perhaps intelligent/smart old fuddy duddies lack common sence, that ordinary folk can clearly see. Freedom from terorrist Pakistani Army is an idea that can't be controlled. And denying this ground reality is beyound stupidity. Also one is very curious to know, didn't US internal profiling of Pakistans top brass reveal their physchopathic tendacies. Where they aren't hesitant to butcher their own people for power, control and manipulation. Or did it not matter as long as they polled high for following instructions from higher powers that be??? 7. On al small positive note. For those in Washington and beyound that want to champion women, women's rights , education freedom etc. You should look no further then Aleema Khan. She has seriously impressed myself and others these pass few months. The women has shown bravery, courage and strength. Even as the corrupt Generals try and intimidate her with trumped up fake charges and threats of jail/torcher. Her poise, grace and ability to speak clearly and effectively in trying situations has won her the respect from many. Let's hope Worldo's, there is a christmas miracle and the old fuddy duddies in Washington wake up and start thinking and seeing things clealry. Surely any intelligent, fair minded person can see. When you Subject 250 million people to barbaric inhumane conditions, where only small percentage of the elite population thrive while the vast majority suffer. That doesn't bring stability to the country or its people. Lord help us all.
