Dear Fellow Worldo's in light of Pakistan people's democratic voice being denied like never before. Its only right to continue to highlight what has and is, currently occurring in Pakistan. The 5th largest country in the world.
Some of the main principles of Western rules based order are:
1. Democracy - denied to the Pakistani people
2. No taxation without representation. Denied to the Pakistani people.
3. Freedom of Speech, peaceful protest and expression. Denied to the PakistanI people. With X (formerly known as Twitter) now being shut for 4+ weeks, internet bans, other social media platforms like Youtube also being threatened to being cut off.
If you care about the principles of Democracy, especially for the 5th largest nation in the world to have democracy, then please remain vigilant of what is happening in Pakistan and be the voice for millions of innconent voiceless and powerless people that are stuck in a darkness they don't have a way out of.
Here is the troubling latest:
Journalists Asard Toor is still being held in custody. For apparently "spreading mistruths on this electronic media platform". One of his crime is stating "Pakistan Judiciary is corrupt/ compromised and under the control or corrupt Generals". Yes, you don't need to reread that. Telling the truth in the court of law in Pakistan appears to now be a crime. It's like the Pakistani Judiciary don't know they are ranked in the lowest 10%, on the World Justice Peace, Rule of Law Index.
Speaking of mistruth/lies here is a summary from the last week:
1. The Corrupt Generals claim that they had "nothing to do with the electoral process of Pakistan" - Perhaps someone should tell them that is as fanciful as Beyonce being the first female Pope (no dis on Queen B btw).
2. Sadly no further updates have been provided for Ahmed Shah the young man in ICU after being torchered for protesting against election rigging. Let's pray he's not dead or has unrecoverable injuries (as his family likely don't have the means for such treatment or rehab).
3. On Sunday Pakistanis all over the country peacefully protested about the election rigging. The police under the command of the corrupt Genrals and Pakistans Cersei Lannister were severely heavy handed. Forcefully dragging men, women and children out of their cars. Smashing in car windows while children were in the back with terrifying fear on their face's.
4. The decaying dynastic carcus of PPP and PLMN and their tone deaf, abhorent, entittled audacity continues. Both parties politically have no electoral standing. Yet Mr. 25% has decided to bestow his youngest daughter the status of "First lady of Pakistan", (which entitles her to all the expensive trimmings). No doubt in his mind to have a backup plan given his deeply unpopular son will likely also fail electorally. And concurrently, cunningly play into the western narrative of "empowering women". Tragically none of the Bhutto Zadri siblings care one iota about women and women's empowerment. They are very much like their Dad. Don't believe me? Go and look in rural Sindh where women have to walk for miles everyday for clean water, the folks there have been malnourished for years (way before the recent Pakistani floods) and how many rural womens clinics are there? Yep its a abhorent farce, they protray to the western world for point scoring. Getting back to the phoney "first lady of Pakistan" the cost of all the trimming bestowed upon her i.e. to elevate Mr. 25% youngest daughter, will again be paid by the long suffering Pakistani tax payers. Great to see the money being used correctly, you know to feed and educate the poverty struck nation.
Pakistan's Cersei Lanaster is distributing flour with her dads face printed on it. The flour has been paid for by the Pakistani tax payers not Sharifs from their own illgotten wealth. So get this, a man who is politically cactus now has his face printed on thousands of flour bags, that were brought and paid for by Pakistani tax payers, all to protray an false image of "grand status and generosity" to the Pakistani people. Again, no one in their right mind belives this stench worthy farce.
5. The IMF under political pressure will likely grant Pakistan future loans. With the proviso of further harsh economic conditions to the Paksitani people. People who are tragically already stretched and engolfed in a darkness. By an illegitimate government that they did not elect or want in any way. This is going to cause further instability in Pakistan. Innocent people are going to continue to suffer. With little care or regard by the PLMN, PPP or the Generals. All these entities will likely use violence as a way to shut people up. The only tool they have left. Anyone can see this is troubling, history has taught us dark nefarious things breed, when people have no hope for a better tomorrow and are subjected to inhuman conditions and violence.
But worldo's one of the most troubling news for this week has to go to:
6. The current Pakistan ISI General, apparently is strongly being considered to be the new Pakistani Ambassador to USA.
Lord help us!
No doubt in a bid to shut up the current voices standing up for the innocent Pakistan people. Especially the Pakistani diaspora in US. The threat of Transnational Repression just jumped a thousand fold!! Many US diaspora who are active on Twitter and other social media have had family members in Pakistan harressed and abused inorder to shut them up and silence them. The cases are massively under-reported to the FBI. Why? Because like most ethnic minorities in western countries, they don't always feel safe with authorities. FBI should do more community outreach to the Paksitani community, to build trust and perhaps with time the true alarming high figures will be revealed. This man and the agency he led, has been involved in a number of heinous acts. Including the Murder of beloved Pakistani Journalists Ashrad Sharif (the Journalist was tracked, hunted, torchered and Murderd in Kenya - 2 years later his death still has not been legimiately investigated). This General is also responsible for the torcher, blackmail and violence towards countless civilians that occured in the middle of the night. Not to mention the agency under his command likely had a huge hand in the arrest and illegal custody of thousands of peaceful female protestors. Many whom are still in jail 10 months later without trial. Based on weak "geo location" of their phones, rather then actually any crime they committed. Horrifically many of these female protestors while in custody have experienced sexual violence. Many of them were filmed and the videos sent to their families. This is a sadistic barbaric tactic used as a "deterrent" to scare and surpress the female protest voice in Pakistan, through the use and threat of sexual violence. As many of you know sexual violance in Pakistan is sadly still very much a culturally sensitive topic and they know that the women are highly likely NOT to speak out, tragically because of the "shame it will cause them and their families". Again the pattern continues: the voiceless, powerless innocent people of Pakistan continue to suffer.
Many in the diaspora feel that the man knows how to suck up to international powers and the right people, in a bid to cover his crimes. His agency , under his command was responsible for some of the most disturbing suppression and violence in Pakistans living memory. The agrument "that this has occured in Pakistan before" is false. True barbaric acts of heinous violence have occured in very rural and rural areas before. But never before in large metropolitan/urban areas AND to this extent. It's similar to how KKK operate in rural and remote areas but they rarely venture to a major capital city like California.
The grand strategy maybe to use Pakistan to contain China but tragically it's at the expense of millions of innocent Pakistan people. If Pakistan had an intellectual class in power, then there would be greater stability in Pakistan, it would have signed the non proliferation of Nuclear weapons treaty and it would have been a partner for peace. Sadly the intellectual class have never been given the space to rise amongst the dynastic leaders and Corrupt Genrals that like to hold onto power with an iron grip.
All of this has sadly been rubber stamped by world powers
