@therose5783 Remember that there's propaganda all over, and there are those pushing a false narrative that the SK opposition is pro NK. It's utter BS, but some swallow it without thinking.

@therose5783 If you want to follow that thread deeper, it's worthwhile to search for reports from reputable international news sources as well as YT videos from DW (German), Times Radio (British), and perhaps a Japanese (English edition) news source. I'm not an expert in the field, just have paid some attention since the 1970's.

This could be seen as a precursor to the chaos and anti-Democratic acts that trump will enact as soon as he's in office. But he's got the majority of Congress to back him up, so things will not go as "well" as the seem to in South Korea.

I suspect trump was peeved as HE wanted to be the first modern Western (Western Allied) leader to destroy his country's democracy.

@oddboxpolitics9912 Your imagination is far to constricted. If you actually had ever read a history book, you'd know just how close the US is to having exactly this sort of destructive leader.

@lynnb6990 I have been paying attention. trump said multiple times words to the effect of "'I only want to be a dictator for one day'". Nobody with a basic understanding of democracy would accept those words from a presidential candidate. Except for those with no historic understand, no knowledge of what fascism is and its effects on the average citizen. Ask the few remaining Russian, Japanese, Italian, or German citizens from the mid 1940's just how great it was. Add to that the compliant toadies he wants to install throughout government and federal law enforcement, and you have the very clear makings of an American fascist. Sorry that you can't see what's right in front of you, but I can.
