While I hold no respect for Net, it is likely that the breakthrough that doomed Assad was at least in part due to the damage done to Hamas by Israel, which has led to a cascade of effects harming Iran and Russia (patrons of Assad). I'll happily take that. As to trump? Ugh, a terrible mistake by US voters.
