The craven action by my country to stop aid to Ukraine is beyond sickening. It makes me wish UA had not given up its "big bang" weapons, since we turned our backs on defending them.

@kguehini We signed a treaty with Ukraine to help protect them if they turned over their big-bang weapons. We. The USA. We did this, and then we turned our backs. If you think Democracy is being able abandon treaties, to say "to bad" after we made international agreements - then you know neither Democracy or History. We're done, you're far to ignorant for me to waste further time on.

"And they vote against their own interests" Indeed. And it's happened here in the USA too. With the pathology of trump and the Republican-led Congress, are we ready to start looking at our own susceptibility to propaganda that ultimately is bad for us? I would love to hear the video correspondents talk about this...

Generally agree with much of what's been discussed, bar one comment - I do not see a thread of "cosmic justice" in this world. I wish it was the case, but evil - lack of empathy, pathological behavior, rampant theft - happens too often and from the same players to give me any hope of inevitable justice. It's always on us to monitor our acts and ask ourselves: "are we doing what's right?". If not, perhaps we're the bad guys...

@kguehini Ah, a student of history I see. Look up "myopia" in the dictionary, then consider what damage it can do. Oh, there's also the matter of a treaty that was signed that obligated the US to defend UA, but we chose to diminish it. But why am I bothering, people like you can't be educated...
