  5.  @zmooc  renewable energy generation is inconsistent, converting excess energy to hydrogen makes more sense than storing in batteries because key parts of batteries are expensive (lithium cobalt etc) as is disposal.

  6. very creative and bold undertaking, just not sure of how realistic it is. Toyota trucks, AK-47 and other machines known for their reliability tend to be simple.

  7. Guns are so dumb they dont require hacking, anyone can take yours and use it in crime. And there are alot of irresponsible gun owners which the incredibly lax ownership laws dont help.

  11. Same with cars... So remove all airbags, auto cruise, auto driving etc? Let consumers choose if they want to die in car with terrible safety but dont force that on everyone.

The logic that since illegal guns are used by criminals everyone should have access to guns is the same as the logic that since rogue states have nukes all states should have access to nuked to protect themselves. You cannot assume even noncriminals will always be responsible/smart, that they will always be innocent. Everyone is born without a criminal charge.
