  1. As l understand the French said the first of the submarines wouldn’t be delivered before late 2035 & there had been a blowout in costs to over $90 billion. We could have purchased some off the shelf submarines from Japan at nowhere near the cost with immediate delivery . The Australian public has been incandescent with rage over this appalling deal & it was shaping up to be a political hot potato. 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
