@daniellive590 The US didn't interfere in Afghanistan directly as the majority of the USA troops going into Afghanistan in 2001 were special forces operators and advisors to train up the Northern Alliance in Afghanistan so that the Northern Alliance can take over the country.

@Samuel Visarra Aircraft are considered to do air support if you didn't know and ground troops are what is considered fighting in battle. A10 Warthogs cannot take and hold land and can only support and help take that land.
