@Qiuness Child soldiers carrying grenades towards coalition soldiers has actually happened in modern times. Not to mention during the BLM protests how can you not see police cars burning in the air and people complain about getting gassed. At least Cuba protests are 10x better as I haven't seen that go out of control yet. Not to mention the fact that most great military leaders are Grey old men such as Mattis, Patton, Montgomery, Nimitz, Dowdy, and more. They had great military careers and Mattis took out a country in under 21 days against a nation with the 4th largest army. Not to mention rank structure exists in which only command tells you the objectives you need to accomplish to your squad leader, and your squad leader will see what's necessary to complete the objective and squad leaders are mostly young men not much older than riflemen.

@dkexpat2755 Afghanistan has 1 oil line starting 2011 and yet the US is allied with the largest oil producers like Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and more. Not to mention produces the most oil domestically and that is a fact. Afghanistan barely has any oil, in Iraq we pulled out in 2014 then in 2017 ISIS was like I'M BACK and we went back in.

@dkexpat2755 Iraq is pretty stable on terms of dealing with ISIS as they got obliterated by the Iraqi forces for example in Mosul. You eventually might have to go to war when conscription comes into play and when conscription comes in you get more worse choices than volunteering for it. Not to mention the fact that you yourself might have to go to war in defense of the homeland in which your family might be in danger. So, don't come home and start crying when your family dies to a bombing raid or SCUD missile attack.
