@MuscleboundKage My primary statement was that the war should happen as it brought a lot of international terrorists get caught up in Iraq and Syria leading to their destruction, and it also impacted the morale of the ISIS organization as a whole as US counter terrorism ops were effective. Not to mention it saved many people's lives. Things went south when the US had no idea on how the Shia Sunni divide worked, which caused the insurgency.

@Maperator soviet help was extremely massive as both the North and South had no military industry and needed foreign suppliers. If nobody supported the North during the war then North would lose, just like the south when it wasn't supported in 1973 to 1975.

@agarlicsorbet6482 send the vid link, but at least they did better than the ANA. Tbh, if the west resupplied vietnam fully in 1975, then the south could hold and eventually start a counter offensive. ARVN resolve was great, and if were trained by the west and war hardened ARVN troops while also being supplied greatly they could hold. Not to mention the ARVN had more troops than the US for the entire war.
