The Iraqis don't need the US as the Iraqis only need the US as those drill sergeants that speak their language to train Iraqi troops. As of 2017 the Iraqis were being chads against ISIS and kicked the enemy out of Mosul in 2017 without coalition ground forces with US support mainly coming from aircraft, training, and artillery.

Actually, the US pulled out troops in 2014 and were forced back in at the year 2017. Strangely enough, after 2017 the Iraqis became true chad fighters and only 2500 troops from the US are needed to assist Iraq and Iraq is making military gains without US ground troops and soon no need for American air support.

@Zedzsa No, it ended in 2014 and started back up in 2017.

@Zedzsa The Iraq war 2 ended in 2014 in which we call it the Iraq War. 2017 is a different war.

@Zedzsa 2015 to 2016 didn't involve the US mainly, it was mainly Iraqis fighting Iraqis with one side having US advisors not combat troops.

@Zedzsa Yes, but the US invaded Iraq partially in 1991 and gave Saddam a decade to be a good boy and in 2003 we invaded Iraq fully again and did our job and went out in 2014. We went in during 2017 as Iraq was needing some help to fight ISIS. The 1991 conflict started because if Saddam invading Kuwait, the reason why Kuwait was invaded was because Saddam broke his own economy during the Iran Iraq war. The war isn't never ending, we haven't had a legit war since 2014 as major combat has stopped by then and in the armed forces its actually peace time. Fun fact the never ending war started long before the US went in as Saddam was busy dealing with his own people rebeling against him. So technically Iraq started it.

@Zedzsa totally didn't see WMDs in the Iran Iraq war, totally didn't see chemicals used there either. Totally isn't killing Islamic Minorities, totally isn't kicking out UN weapons inspectors, anyways I was being sarcastic, the war was justified and Saddam did big brain move which is to fire off all his QMDs at Israel and destroy whatever he couldn't fire.
