  2. @FrithonaHrududu02127  Would you want to pursue a sport if it cost at least a couple thousand to simply practice with a club team? Getting scouted to join is very rare, too, and you still have to pay to join.

  3. @CalamitiTime  I talk about sports because sports have a shown positive impact on a community if done correctly. I am also a believer in infrastructure being a root cause to several problems in America.

  6. @Tagerrun  This ain't brazil. We cannot follow in the footsteps of Grabriel Jesus or Lionel Messi. This is America. The average cost to join a club team for soccer in Chicago is $3000 for Chicago City, Chicago FC United, KICS FC. Ever heard of Pay to play?

  8. @FrithonaHrududu02127  club teams are competitive travel teams for youths Age 13 to 18 in sports teams. Travel teams go out of their neighborhood area to play other teams in other communities and in other cities. These are the teams that actually offer pathways for a higher level of sport. For soccer, American football, and baseball in Chicago, the pay to play problem is massive.
