@tonypeterson5316 Vietnam hasn't done anything to the US to make it leave militarily, as you would see the US dominated in combat against Vietnam and did so for more than a decade. Yet you think I have no rights to talk about something happening in the 70s, yet you do. So ima say that, China lost more troops within a month to Vietnamese militiamen than the US in the entire Vietnam War in the Sino Vietnamese war. Also, 1973 US leaves Vietnam and the government in Saigon falls in 1975.

@tonypeterson5316 1979 Sino Vietnamese war in which more Chinese died within a few months than the US in the entire Vietnam war. Not to mention Chinese UN troops deserting the post while in force.

@tonypeterson5316 If we paid off all of the Natoinal Debt, there would be no more money. The Natoinal Debt finances all of the other debt. You have to ask yourself, when is a dollar "born?" A dollar is created in the moment that a loan is made at a bank. How is a loan made at a bank? Banks are able to loan based on their funds in deposit. Banks borrow funds from the Fed at the Fed window. The Fed is creating money based on debt issued by the Treasury - the National Debt. When we pay down that debt the money that was "born" at the time the loans were made, "dies" or "evaporates" at the point in time when it is repaid. Thus, if we were to repay the National Debt, people would have to repay the loans that were made based on the dollars generated for deposit reserves and, therefore, we would have no more money. We would be reduced to a barter system. Want to see hyper inflation? Let's pay off the debt. The last guy with a dollar would presumably have $17 trillion in buying power

@Watcher the US does respect the sovereignty of other countries as they left those send countries alone when their job is done. For example 2011 US pulled from Iraq after dismantling it for terrorists even though the Intel was bad. They only came back in 2014 to fight ISIS and right now are gone. Afghanistan 2014 US handed all responsibilities to the Afghan government. Panama, Grenada, and Chilie are now prospering independent countries that benefited from the USA.

@tonypeterson5316 because they're smart unlike China who under the bling is actually poor and impoverished. My parent's old small apartment looks luxurious compared to what the majority of people there are living in. Not to mention the masses of wasteful construction projects that have no other objective to just look good. Not to mention China's poverty line is around 2 USD while in the USA its 13 thousand USD., while the international poverty line is 2.15 dollars.

@tonypeterson5316 Tony, paying off the national debt does nothing good besides making plans for more debt believe it or not. Life would still be the same actually. Not to mention China is experiencing a economic crisis too and country standard housing is worse than the USA's. Not to mention my parents are from China and immigrated mid 2000s.

@Watcher I say look at what China did to Tibet, Xinjiang, Mongolia, ROC, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, etc. Btw, China supports the ethnic cleansing of the Vietnamese people and also invaded Vietnam in 1979.

@marktn9851 Su30MKI can detect Chiese stealth jets meaning they don't even research nor have the fundamentals of stealth aircraft. They just copy like the pink Mercedes in F1.

Fun fact about those 850 known bases, they account for combat outposts that hold 50 men probably, firebases, FOBs, etc.
1
@geoff9858 can't deny the Russians are slow and not combat effective.
1
@akunamatata4266 6.71 yuan a dollar. Not to mention China is a unpopular government at home and abroad as the people living there aren't having a good time despite the infrastructure projects that make them look good. Not to mention their military combat capabilities suck as they sent Chinese UN troops to Jaba and they legit fled their post for a few weeks.
1
@akunamatata4266 China was a crumbling empire already undergoing a recent Civil War and currently a public perception crisis. They might end up like the USSR.

@DancingTWsFrogs looks at the poverty line, forced relocated people, looks at the living conditions, dirtiness, censorship, etc/

1
@wiseandstrong3386 not to mention the fact that the US helped the USSR win ww2 through making Germany not being able to produce anything and not being able to move stuff.
1
@willengel2458 no, as they cannot use said weapons.

@joemy20tobe Uh no, Vietnam also allies with China and China lost to vietnam within a month through military actions in 1979, while the US was able to do it for more than a decade without getting defeated and simply was like, I am getting tired of this time to go home. The USA isn't afraid of China as much as you think they're. The US just wants to maintain stability, idk if you're blind or not, but the US rigs wargames to intentionally lose to justify more spending. Not to mention the Taliban nor the Vietnamese did anything militarily to kick the US out.

@kkatn8787 tbh, American lower class people are weak willed. Even if we open up jobs of making American made clothing and such, replacing what the Chinese are making for us. The price will increase and protests will breakout because of more expensive goods even though its for the benefit of the lower class by giving them a JOB.
1
@joemy20tobe not to mention Communist Chinese failiure in Malaysia, Vietnam, and Cambodia.
1
@ftd7435 Free to low cost labor. Didn't know that?

@marktn9851 China has nukes which is an issue.

How stupid are you to not know what a colonizers is, US had a chance to be a colonial power in the 1800s but refused.

@xiyang8989 I am Chinese too

@RAIDENCHEEKS ROC and PRC were in civil war, the PRC used WW2 as a means to weaken the ROC as they took a lot of the brunt and the PRC just sat there. PRC committed genocide to the Mongolian people in the North by changing their way of life and eliminating their culture.
1
@RAIDENCHEEKS "Xinjiang was proven false and it was a gigantic propaganda campaign by the United States," Then why did they invade them??? China invades that country for no reason and you cannot defend that, China invaded Xinjiang for territorial expansion.
