  1. Sometimes if the car is too strong, the whiplash would be greater on the driver as the car is supposed to have deform and crush points to absorb the impact. A Great example of this is in NASCAR where the cars were rock solid and barely dents during wrecks, this led to a higher amount of racer injuries.
