  2.  @rabd3721  Most likely caused by the Taliban for supporting the US government and if you didn't notice that Vietnam executed 3 million civilians after the war for supporting the US. The US sends 8.5k troops so do you think they were to occupy a country? No, they were to train the ANA to fight, but they were smoking too much hash and got wasted.
