  31.  Amit Kumar  war isn't good for the weapon industry, Sig Sauer almost went bankrupt during the troop surges, lockheed and boeing lost a lot of cash and so did Sikorsky. Plus, a bunch of other bug military companies lost cash too. Don't believe me? Check the stock prices and they only recovered when the US pulled our a lot of their troops in 2010 and the full withdrawal in Iraq in 2014.

Great recession is a thing too. Btw, there is a direct correlation to stock market value and troops being deployed. Stock improved in 2011 when we pulled from iraq. Also, during the surge in Afghanistan stock went down.
