Well, if the Ukranians launched terrorist attacks on Western cities, hijacked Western airliners and killed their passengers, took Westerners hostage maybe the West wouldn't care what happened to them, either. Bad tactical choices have made a lot of the Middle East an enemy of the West. I don't see any improvement yet, either. You reap what you sow.

  2. Every attack on civilians that the Russians make creates more Ukrainians that viscerally hate them. Not many months ago, the Russians were just "the neighbours next door" and now the Russians will be seen as pure evil for at least a generation. What a huge mistake this is for Russia. They make take some territory but they are creating a situation in which it will be impossible for them to win. They create their own enemy.
