  1. It's interesting because in Kosovo, some of the NATO countries intervened to stop the genocide, not under the NATO treaty but under the auspices of the UN. Here we are with ten Kosovo's going on simultaneously but the Russian Security Council veto renders the UN neutered. It has become a useless organization, just as the League of Nations did before all hell broke loose.
