  1. A connection between Ireland, Scotland and the Scythians might be through the Yamnaya peoples of the Steppes but holy crap that is a long time ago. Too long for an oral folk tradition to be passed on? Maybe. Who knows? There is a lot of suspicious, really old stuff to be found in places like the Old Testament ... like floods ... that might be a record of an ancient event.
