  1. A rapid end to Vladimir Putin's regime along with a succession of his hostilities would solve Europe's winter energy crisis overnight. Whoever succeeds Putin (assuming they are saner and wiser0 will have to resume energy exports so that the Russian economy doesn't completely implode during the cold, dark winter. This all may be closer than we think.

  2.  @roynickson8460  That depends on the manner in which he is replaced. If a mutinous Russian army evicted him, they will demand a succession of hostilities and that they be brought home (see: 1917). They will not back anyone who pushes them into the meat grinder. Total regime change is what is needed, not one gangster handing off the keys to another.
