  1. It's not just in Australia where the media are the enemy of Defence. If you ask most Canadians about their submarines, they'll tell you "they're crap!" even though the Upholder/Victoria class is one of the best diesel boats out there. There is no publishied information about them that is not negative. The Canadian Armed Forces are terrible at selling themselves.
