  1. No, it's more that Canada's and US's opinion that it's international waters. It has been ruled repeatedly to be thus by the UN over the years and China ignores it ... and the territorial waters of about 8 other countries, as well. Basically, they've declared the entire South China Sea to be Chinese property in spite of it being shared by Indonesia, Philippines, Japan, South Korea, Vietnam, Cambodia, Taiwan, Thailand.

  5.  @sergeikhripun  Why did all the countries that were occupied and terrorized by the Russians over the decades ALL vote to join NATO? They have to protect themselves from the genocidal killer apes that live next door in Russia and that is how NATO bases get closer and closer to Russia ... because the Russians are killers and they need protection from them.

  6. How about it? The Americans can sink said Chinese warship IF it enters US waters and threatened them. They Chinese can do what you described out in International Waters and in fact, they do things like that all of the time ... mostly in aircraft ... as do the Russians.
