  4. Canada has free trade agreements with her North American neighbours, the EU and increasingly, with the Pacific Rim. The UK has .... no such agreements as she left the biggest one on the planet in a jingoistic huff. It speaks volumes that the UK can't mange to form a trade agreement with a country that fed them when they were under siege during WWII ... all over a trivial food item. Give your heads a shake, Britons.

  5. The United State's biggest trading partner is Canada/China depending on which direction it's going. Europe is way down the list.

  6.  @gurkslunga  Sorry. That's incorrect. The United States and Canada have the largest bilateral trade and investment relationship and enjoy the most integrated economic relationship in the world but hey, if alternate facts keep you warm and cozy at night enjoy.

  8. You should also analyse import vs export. If Britain's exports are way down but you still have to import as much as ever, the balance of trade becomes more skewed and Britain gets poorer as a result. Britain becomes a net consumer, and not a producer.

Instead Trump released 5,000 interned Taliban, removed all but 2,500 American troops, formulated no exit plan, declared that they were just going to leave this Spring, just like that and then left it to the next administration. Trump shat on somebody but he directly aided and abetted the Taliban.
