Canada need to get our Latvia deployment up to brigade strength ASAP. Start moving those Leopard 2 tanks, etc. today and get real equipment into theatre. It won't be possible to do so if the shooting starts. The next level of this conflict will be "come as you are" not "let's wait and see what happens next and we'll talk about it then".

@0x007A How would that initiate WWIII? The only way that might happen if Russia invades a NATO country around it. The thing is, Putin is crazy enough to do that. It's almost as if he's intentionally goading the West into taking more action in Ukraine so that he can unleash his "big plan" whatever the heck that is. We have responsibility to our allies to be ready of he decides to roll into Latvia. We aren't now.
