  12. @danielpotter624  The only reason for temperature extremes would be lack of greenhouse gases. Greenhouse gases work like a heat pump, making the temperature more tropical and reducing pressure and temperature differentials.

  19. @eulldog  Maybe because you are an atheist? Look, CO2 is 422 ppm. CO2 doesn't have magic powers, the sun, however does. I live in California. I haven't noticed any unusual weather patterns. There is plenty of rain and this is the desert. If the temp went up 8 degrees where you live, you had better look for another cause than CO2..Maybe you have fallen prey to suggestion? How could a trace gas raise the temperature 8 degrees in the winter? If the sun isn't shining, you could have plenty of CO2, but it isn't going to absorb more heat than water. Minnesota has lots of water. I know you think CO2 has magic powers, but water has more magic than CO2.

  20.  @eulldog  If your winters are shorter, be thankful. I hated winters in Michigan. Maybe the Earth is not tilting so much. Perhaps the Poles have changed location. Who knows. I know CO2 can bring up Temps in the cold; but, CO2 isn't just radiating heat to Earth. CO2 is rising in the atmosphere for a reason. Even if CO2 were the cause of temperatures rising, it wouldn't make sense to get rid of fossil fuels. That would be genocidal.

  21. @eulldog  We could lower CO2 by putting climate alarmists in climate camp. Anyone who believes CO2 is killing people and still continues to use any benefits from fossil fuels is in their own mind knowingly murdering people. It doesn't matter if it is true or not. That makes them genocidal. Why do climate alarmists continue to use fossil fuels? Because they cannot live without them. Their plan is to kill off those who do not believe or force the non-believers to practice the climate religion before the climate religionist attempts to practice his own religion.. EVs are not rejecting fossil fuel use. They might lower it minutely, but, that causes a whole host of other problems: lower production, anger management issues, class issues by claims of superiority (even though most climate alarmists aren't good at science), EVs are disposable, don't work in cold or coastal climates, etc. The facts are we cannot do without fossil fuels. I have never seen any realistic harm caused by fossil fuels. The planet is greening because plants cannot get enough CO2. If CO2 could actually stop the planet from radiating heat, you might have a point, but it cannot, nor can it raise temperatures significantly on the high side. CO2 also cannot store heat in the oceans. The water stores the heat and CO2 is insignificant. All the heat that enters the biosphere must go out. There is no magic switch that can store heat. There isn't enough CO2 to raise heat levels to any degree by means of storage. The claims of climate alarmists do not align with physics.
