  1. US subs were good but their armaments made them basically useless without 1942's losses to force the BeuOrd to finally fix the dang mark 14, there's just nothing better to say when your subs fire 10-20 torpedoes and only 1 detonates

I think you did a video on war plan red but I still would like to point out the incredibly crazy battle for the atlantic a USN vs RN fight would have been given the US and RN were both unprepared in their own ways plus the hilarity the US invading, occupying, annexing, and then rapidly creating states out of canada would have been

  5. What's better than sinking 1 Bismark? Sinking 9 more! Seriously if germany actually put 10 bismarks to sea, the japanes almost certainly would have put more yamato's to sea as well, so the natural response from the US would have been to spam Montanas, Iowas, and maybe Alaskas

  6.  @silverhost9782  they did plan to make 2 but they also looked at what the japanese were doing, probably what everyone else was doing and thought carriers worked like battleships where you could just make them bigger than your opponent's and just win, and never really seemed to work out that carriers required a lot more doctrinal development, coordination between services, and also probably some smaller scale development before you build a battleship sized carrier
