  1. only thing about the army/navy treaty thing was nobody was preparing for amphibious operations besides maybe Japan because the brits got really burned, France was going to be fighting Germany, the US just assumed we could join the fight later on and Germany wasn't exactly thinking about naval invasions at the time either.
