  2. you don't intercept an ICBM with a hypersonic cruise missile. all this talk about hypersonic weapons are either rebranding upgrades of old weapon systems or building a faster than supersonic cruise missile (which is like comparing tmoble 5g to veriozon 5g, the US is targeting mach 6 while china/russia reach mach 3 and claim victory)

  8. depends on what you're trying to do. military aircraft don't strictly use wet wings like military jets because they expect them to get shot at, while commercial airliners use wet wings because they need the space in the middle of the plane. sometimes they have no choice, the c5 galaxy has a giant fuel tank in the middle of the wingbox because it has to fly across the world

You're basically not going to build any new f35s in the time it takes to fight a modern high intensity war, so you have only diminishing stockpiles of weapons and vehicles
