  1. you don't intercept an ICBM with a hypersonic cruise missile. all this talk about hypersonic weapons are either rebranding upgrades of old weapon systems or building a faster than supersonic cruise missile (which is like comparing tmoble 5g to veriozon 5g, the US is targeting mach 6 while china/russia reach mach 3 and claim victory)

  2.  @Ry_TSG  icbms contain many decoy systems specifically designed to confuse radar systems and detection systems. Even the best system can't figure out which of the 10-20 RVs is an actual warhead
