  3. china and taiwan's economies are so tightly tied up to each other I don't think they could ever justify it, but then russia and ukraine's economies were tightly tied together as well

  5. it really has caused more harm than good. there's few actual terrorist movements like AQ were anymore, with most 'terrorists' now being your run of the mill gurilla force or sectarian militia instead. Plus most of our state level opponents cover their oppressive actions with the blanket of 'fighting terrorism' and the entire way the west polices its citizens will never be the same

  8. really kind of disproves a lot of the pro fossil fuel politician's arguments that there's no way to do without continual increases in oil production, the economy didn't collapse, countries did spend a lot more on energy but the long term plan will actually help a lot more than anyone could have envisioned

  10. they only seem to be capable of using the small arms and light vehicles, basically everything else like heavy armor, aircraft or drones are junk for lack of pilots and parts so not really that armed
