If they want starlink, they get starlink, even if that means marching to the hill, sitting 51 senators and 218 congresscritters into a room and telling them what happens if Elon cuts off Ukraine, you don't cross the Pentagon especially if they're busy fighting a war

  19. it would seem to be an implaussably massive oversight if the pentagon wasn't funding starlink, they have contracts with SpaceX already, I think Elon is either unaware or just making things up to push a narrative. the longer term goal is to transition them to ground and soaced based NATO standard equipment
