  1. the bullet was deformed, its just you can't tell from the side profile picture. look up kennedy bullet and you can find easily, a picture of the bullet from the base and see its been significantly deformed

  8. might help if joe referred to the right picture, the bullet was significantly deformed by tumbling, which you actually saw, but you can't see that from the side profile there's other pictures showing the crumpled bullet from the base
