  1. if the symptoms of severe glaucoma or phantom limb syndrome are guides, you'd be swimming in hallucinations and false sensory feedback since the brain isn't capable of shutting off those parts when the limbs/nerves fail, so they just go crazy

  2. kind of a 10, we learned a lot but then again, a brain isn't a heart or liver and experimenting on those organs might have gleamed as much of a lesson anyways. Someone will try this in the immediate future though, probably in either russia or china
