  2. Buy a digital caliper, its such a stupidly useful tool from getting the scale of things on a computer screen to figuring out whether you have a 2.5mm or 3mm m2 screw. Its just such an intuitive thing to be able to set the points to a size or put the points up to something and get a good gage of its size, especially if you're translating things from a digital medium to a physical one
