  1. I'd say there's a distinction because EVE has a way more strict tax code because there's no tax free loop-holes or complex ownership strategies to get massive tax returns on loosing capital. NY's taxes aren't really that high, as the Trump investigations have borne out, there's ways for people of means to avoid paying taxes entirely while living in NYC
