One of the clues that the UK is in decline is the disturbing difficult in trying to arrange a simple doctor's appointment.
46
To say that the quality of UK public services has dropped in the last couple of years is an understatement. Crappy doctor appointment waiting times, overpriced non-punctual public transport, tripled supermarket food prices, commercialized education, useless consumer rights organizations and charities with lofty business goals.

Thatcher was the wrong solution to whatever problems Britain had in the 1970's.

@DigiDriftZone crappy anglosaxon management

The most disturbing thing about UK's decline is the criminal difficulty in getting a simple face to face doctor's appointment where it can take up to 6 weeks. The public transport, education quality, welfare provision standards and supermarket food prices are also disgusting.

I always notice that you smile in the last two seconds of every video you make. lol

Also the 5 year prison sentence for the Just Stop Oil activists

Insomnia is also a new disease that has risen in since the middle of the 19th century.

A substantial proportion of Americans are of european descent but I always believed europeans were smarter than americans. It is surprising that America is doing way better than the UK and Europe in this regard.
3
Which country did you move to if you don't mind me asking?
3
@bognagruba7653 oh, i had no idea.

Whatever Britain's situation was before the Thatcher, she was a demon who stood on the side of the wealthy against the unwealthy (i.e. an reversal of traditional morality).
2
Germany (Strong Turkish diaspora for community support), Netherlands (Growing fintech sector) and Malaysia (Easy visa process with MM2H program, Significant Muslim population for cultural comfort)

The ghosting is more unforgivable than the rejection.

Brexit, big mistake

Tech companies like Meta and Google have zero value to "the people". Amazon produces eff all, Microsoft's latest operating system is dogshit and Apple products are criminally overpriced.

@Arthur-rl1cj so?

China is doing well.

There's more to a nation's economic status than the average national IQ of its population, I believe.

As Poland is a big supporter of Israel, they are welcome to give a share of their country as a homeland to them.
1
I believe you're 100% incorrect.

Freedoms like what?

There should have never been a referendum for Brexit because the majority of the population can be - and has been - influenced by deceptive Brexit propaganda. Think of Cambridge Analytica and criminal american billionaires supporting Brexit.

Can you give me some tips about moving from Britain to Portugal?

Great video, thanks. Enjoyed listening to your lecture.

Good video. I like the narrator's peculiar voice accent.

@frogandspanner Even London is doing poorly for ordinary people.
1
Two weeks ago I wanted to book an ordinary appointment with a GP in London. I was on the phone for 50 minutes before it was answered only to be told that I would have to wait two weeks before I would have a phone appointment with a doctor who would call me. Absolute disgusting system!

@jonathanjonathan7386 more like the ingenious outcome of brexit among other things
1
It's not bad news, it is the truth. Social media is a superior source of information than mainstream media.
1
The most intelligent action british people can do in my opinion is to 'backpropagate' on Brexit.
1
Britain being a North European western country, you would think they would have brainpower to avoid undesirable economic issues.
1
the uk is not a welfare state, it is a neoliberal pro-American state.
