Canada will be essentially little India in about 50 years.

And in Manitoba, we had one of the nicest, coolest summers in a long time. CBC won't report that will they? (and last summer lots of beautiful rain). PS... these records they speak of don't go back very far.

Agreed. Diversity of language is not a good thing when it comes to the health of a country/society. Communication should always be as clear and effortless as possible. Over the past 10 years where I live, I went from being able to chat with strangers or clerks at stores when I went out (especially if I need assistance). That is almost impossible now.

This isn't how world economics work. Canada needs to buy oil and then sell our goods to Russia (same goes for other countries). It's sad, but true.

500,000 + new immigrants every year... what do you expect will happen?
4
@jwalkhooligan3597 They should not be allowed in at the rate that we are currently using. Canada has the most aggressive immigration policy of any country at any time in history. This is just going to be hugely problematic (it already is, look at the skyrocketing housing costs as an example).

A proper and equitable shakeup would be moving Trudeau and his party over to the other side of the Commons to sit beside Jackmeat.
3
Yup and it's longer than Ottawa's.

Manitoba too. Super nice and comfortable. CBC won't report that.

Dwight Schrute: Wrong! The world's longest skating rink is in Winnipeg at 8.5 km.

Such sad news. I hope she lived a happy life.

This was a plane filled with Conservatives going to the convention. This wasn't just some random flight.

Got news for ya. Higher wages INCREASES prices and inflation. Unsure why nobody seems to get this simple fact. You raise income, prices go up. It's a dog chasing its own tail.
2
Reduce immigration DRASTICALLY, remove the red tape for building new apts and homes, and make construction jobs more attractive somehow (btw, most immigrants do not want to work in construction).
2
Bingo! The youtube channel "CDN" discusses this and debunks the fear mongering about "man made" climate change.

And the "global statistics" being used only go back to about 1970 and mostly involve heat islands caused by monitoring in cities. @peter9477

LOL. ALL of the climate models have been wrong since they began in the 70's (when they predicted global cooling/ice age). ALL of them. Why should people NOW suffer for the 0.001% chance that some people hundreds of years from now MIGHT suffer. They are taking "maybe" and making it a "for sure" when it comes to people suffering. AND so called "green" energy is EXTREMELY bad for the environment as it takes 1000x more land to run than traditional energy, it's extremely unreliable and needs backups, and is devastating to the environment to make @anthonymatthews3698

....this is where covid began

Wageflation is real. You increase wages, prices go up. It's not rocket science. At the same time, right now, greedflation is also a huge issue and it's backed up with receipts as there are taped phone calls with CEOs of major companies saying their new strategy (starting 2 years ago) to increase profits is to increase prices as much as possible as long as customers continue to pay. And since we need food, they pretty much have us all in a corner. @briguy677

RIP Manitoba

I've been watching youtubers doing on-the-street interviews with Russians and most say the sanctions aren't affecting them at all.
