@romeisfallingagain I promise you, you don't want to debate this with me. If this is a christian nation then why all the laws that are against Gods will? And which 'church' are you referring too, the church of England? Set up to facilitate a former monarch's divorce. An adulterous monarch who then appointed himself head of the church. When the Lord Jesus Christ alone is head of his ecclesia. I can assure you he relinquishes that position to no one. But please tell me more about this God fearing country.

@romeisfallingagain I've known many ex servicemen over the years. And I'm grateful for their service. However most of them will brag about their many conquests while serving. Conquests of the female variety while posted abroad or not. Married men included, single men and women fornicating outside of marriage. So what oath to God are you referring to? Didn't our present king, some time ago,express the desire to be the head of faiths upon being crowned? So where is the allegiance to the one true God? And I could bring up many points concerning government, but I'll mention only this. What of the legalised genocide practised in this country? Again, please tell me about this christian country.

@romeisfallingagain This is a non christian nation. There as never been a Christian country.

@romeisfallingagain Military oath you say is to God first. Is this oath built upon Gods ordinances or mans? As I already pointed out I've known many ex service people. And they are adamant there is no God. Do you then suggest they lied under oath?

No oath of man is above God. And everyone who swears an oath does so expressly against God's will. No true christian therefore would do such a thing. " Let your yeah be yeah, and your nay be nay." God is very clear that no oath be taken in his name.

@romeisfallingagain No.

The Old Testament, though of significant importance, is not the New Covenant. The words I quoted are from the Lord himself. And were spoken at the sermon on the mount.

@romeisfallingagain The Old Testament, as you know is concerned primarily with the law. The New Testament with grace. We need grace because no man or woman can keep the law. And certainly won't be saved by it.

@romeisfallingagain My words speak for themselves. You speak in the beginning as though have some belief in God. That is good and I would encourage that. But you must decide who's side your on. You can't have God and the world.

@romeisfallingagain Caesar is a figure of world government. Like Pharaoh, Rome, Egypt,Babylon etc.

Your Caesar question came a little late.

@romeisfallingagain They weren't kicked out, they were lead out by God. Pharaoh would have continued to abuse them. That is Old Testament truth. And the Lord Jesus leads his people out of Egypt (the world) to this day. And when the last one is out, Egypt will be destroyed. Which is evident by world affairs today. That is New Testament truth.

@biddyearly9262 It arrived in Britain before then. But that doesn't make it Christian. Faith in God is a personal matter, for the individual, who then come together to form the body. We have many denominations to choose from. Why? They all differ in beliefs (unlike the true ecclesia) and worship in division. God's people are called out of the world, not into it.
