  6. Ā @bettyswunghole3310Ā  How would you explain the loss of faith? The state of British politics as been in decline for decades. So why now? Was it the virus and the way it was handled, the climate debate, or a combination of several issues? I do feel that with the loss of faith in the political system an alternative will be found. Perhaps even orchestrated. It all feels a little to convenient to me.

  9. Ā @bettyswunghole3310Ā it's interesting that given we were an Empire the people never really benefited from that power or wraith. We were of course the foremost industrial nation in the world. And work was always available. But the common people never advanced their station in life. I think the only period of affluence for the working class was from the mid 1950s to the 70s. A brief period of time before the dismantling of our industries and the selling off of the nation's assets. But in that short time and due to the improvement of the quality of life, health, housing,wages and opportunities. Perhaps people began to become complacent and soft.The hardships and adversities which forge people are diluted to an extent. We hear the term social engineering frequently now. The truth of this or the extent to which it goes,if at all is mind boggling. And those not aware of the magnitude of the situation, may not care if they knew.
