Goodness/righteousness is exclusive to God. And does not exist apart from him. Therefore to seek righteousness (because that is really what its about) anywhere else, is by definition evil. Emphasis on evil.

@imperialofficer6185 Secularism like atheism is to declare that there is no God, and offers no proof of this assertion. Therefore it is arrogant, delusional, irrational and evil.

@imperialofficer6185 Agreed, and nor do I claim to be. Righteous that is. I simply state the standard God has set. And we all fall short of the glory of God.

@imperialofficer6185 No one wants to be righteous. They do want a righteousness of their own determining. People cannot, and would not choose the righteousness of God. And so there is no possibility of force. Man/woman is not part of the equation. It is of God, and it is he alone who determines in whom it will dwell. This is done by the preaching of the gospel and to those he has appointed to receive it. This is done primarily through the conviction of sin. And the receiving of a new heart. Again, it is nothing to do with people, lest any man should boast. Secularism is a device of man to deny God. In essence to put mans destiny in his own hands to the exclusion of God. This teacher, at best, has prevented the teaching's of a false religion.

@imperialofficer6185 But prayer is personal except in the meetings of the brethren. It is not for public display by unbelievers, ie school's or any other public place, to be seen of man. This is hypocrisy. There are no Christian school's or nations. The Lord sent the disciples to preach that his "chosen" may be saved from this world and its fate. Chosen by God. And not by men. But inspire of them in their rebellion and disobedience. There are no faith's except the one true faith. All else are belief's and are of man and their father.
