  2. I was going over User Policies and man was I disturbed. Talk about uptight. I know I have said some things that have caused me to be warned, but I am not a menace to society, a terrorist nor am I a homicidal maniac. My excuse was simply I am an adult and I speak in an adult manner. That was my excuse to Open AI. This morning I am reading User Policies and I'm feeling bad. These restrictions are not reflective of an open, free society, nor does encourage the free exchange of ideas. I am a paid member and I feel oppressed. One mistake and I could be history. My problem is the minefield is very large and expansive. War? A big no no. If you have ever been shut down by ChatGPT you know what I am talking about. Anything to do about violence? On the restriction list, subject to your being terminated. Now, this User Policy could be a scarecrow, as I have not been permanently banned as proof. But, in lesser AI playgrounds I have been sussed out and suspended for my open speech, that at times could be interpreted as hostile, but when you are talking about bonehead coaches and front offices, the languages tend to get heated. All AI surveillance is not equal. Most times there was a warning, and most of the time, the AI it was not cumulative, some were. I mean, it's not like every sentence is a blazing red hot laser of animosity, but somebody calls you out nastily, and you respond, you know what happens, it's the responder that gets the T. A couple of times I have had to explain that the person has come at me first and and actually said worse things than I did, it was good to keep me alive. My point here is that after reading the User Policy I am thinking of getting off the site. Look, I'm an American hothead on my best days as those are my people. I'm not a raving lunatic, but I admit I have crossed the line. These Open AI dudes got everything covered, everything is bad don't involve ChatGPT in anything that involves these restrictive rules. So, if you are curious and want to learn about something on the restrictive list, say maybe about the Fall of Saigon and why that happened, there is a good chance ChatGPT is going to tell you that it doesn't do war. So, terms of Service and User Policies got me feeling really bad wondering if I can even survive much longer in ChatGPT land. Sorry for the diatribe, but the subject matter triggered me. It's funny, on the Net it's all Happy happy joy joy about ChapGPT. However, there is nothing reported on the TOS or the User Policies. I think the reason is people are scared the people behind the technology can just as easily take it away, as they suddenly brought it to the entire world. This is my observation, not a problem looking for a solution. All eggheads (a violative term in ChapGPT) are safe. Educated ruffians, like me, beware and watch your step, ChatGPT is not taking any of your guff.
